A native of Oconomowoc, she graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following college, she obtained a law degree from UW-Madison as well. While in law school, Maura served as a Senior Managing Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review where she was awarded the prestigious Gwynette Smalley Law Review Prize.
