Attorney Kathryn E. Potratz earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with honors and a family law concentration. Prior to law school, Attorney Potratz graduated with a degree in psychology and criminal justice with high honors from St. Louis University.
During law school, Attorney Potratz focused on her passion for family law. She served in the Family Court Clinic, a clinical program which provides full, free family law services and representation to low-income individuals throughout the Madison area. Attorney Potratz was also the President of the Children’s Justice Project and she was a Managing Article Editor for Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender and Society.
Attorney Potratz has a passion for cases involving custody and physical placement disputes. She believes it’s important to maintain respect and civility throughout the court process so that parents are able to effectively co-parent post-divorce/litigation for the benefit of their children.
