How Uncontested Divorce Works

You’re going to have an attorney assigned to your case who’s going to draft all the initial paperwork and file it with the court, make sure your financial statements are done properly and file that with the court, draft a complete marital settlement agreement based on the agreements that you and your spouse are able to reach, and then finally obtain a court date and get you divorced at that final court hearing. We will attend that final court hearing with you as well, if that’s necessary, depending on the Wisconsin county in which you live.

If you have other questions about the uncontested divorce process, please book a meeting.

Fixed Price Uncontested Divorce Attorneys

An uncontested divorce is a case where there are no material issues in dispute. You’re able to resolve issues with your spouse, such as where your children are going to live, how much support is going to be paid, and how you’re going to divide your assets and your debts. We’re going to help you get through that process for one low flat fee and we’ll help make sure that everything is done properly, all the documents are signed and filed in a timely fashion, and we’re going to get you divorced within about four or five months of starting the process.
