When you are injured or grieving, the last thing you want to be doing is dealing with an insurance adjuster who is trying to take advantage of you. I will handle every aspect of the claims process to make sure you receive full justice, not discount justice.
Michael D. Karp’s love of the law started at the kitchen table where his dad who is also a lawyer shared complex legal arguments and strategy ideas while soliciting Michael’s input. A born problem solver, Michael fell in love with the challenges and the rewards of wringing justice from unjust situations. In a world where blame is plentiful and taking responsibility is hard to come by, Michael can always be counted on to do the right thing—and to make it easy for others to do the right thing as well.
Though he has handled over 400 cases and recovered over 10 million dollars, Michael is not just a fantastic legal strategist—he is also a loyal teammate who cares deeply for his clients, their physical and mental health, and their families.
Leading a client-centered practice is paramount for Michael—so much so that he routinely calls clients on the weekends and after hours, respecting that his clients have families and work schedules that preclude them from accommodating traditional law firm hours. In doing so, Michael hopes to inspire two things in his clients: confidence and relief. He wants them to know from minute-one they have chosen the best possible representation and that they can trust him to maximize their recovery while freeing them to focus on the important work of rebuilding their lives and their livelihoods.
In his opponents, Michael inspires respect and accountability. Known as a principled litigator and compelling communicator, Michael can win over the hardest skeptics on any jury. He considers every option, every angle, and will never settle for an offer that is just “good enough.”
Clients routinely describe Michael as professional, responsive, and empathetic. He makes each client feel like they are his only client.
Attorney Karp handles personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, and wrongful death cases.
He is an avid Packer fan with two rescue dogs. In his spare time he enjoys travel and running/lifting.

“Amazing, smart, skilled attorneys. They really care about their clients and it shows. Attorney Karp was able to bring my case to the conclusion I wanted, after several other firms told me it couldn’t be done. I can’t recommend Karp & Iancu highly enough.”
